We Are Dedicated To The Health And Vitality Of Your Precious Animal Companions
Do you have anxiety on where to leave your pet when you are going out of town? You can rest assured your furry family member is properly cared for when they board with the Baton Rouge Animal Hospital. Our staff is filled with compassionate professionals who will care for your pet, just like their own. Our facility is climate-controlled so your dog or cat is comfortable, regardless of the unpredicatable weather we face in southeast Louisiana.
Our boarding area is always kept immaculately clean, and food and water are monitored every 2-3 hours. Our canine boarders are walked twice daily, and felines are kept in an area separate from barking dogs, that would otherwise cause them stress.
For the safety of your pet, as well as our other guests, all boarders must be current on our required vaccination schedule. For our canine friends, required vaccinations include rabies, canine distemper virus, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvovirus, leptospirosis, and bordetella bronchiseptica. Felines are required to be vaccinated against rabies, rhinotracheitis virus, calicivirus, panleukopenia, and chlamydia. If you are unsure of the vaccination status, please contact us prior to your pet’s expected stay to insure our boarders are current on vaccinations.
If you pet requires special food or medication, please bring these items when you are leaving your pet. Also, favorite toys or blankets are encouraged to make sure your furry friend feels right at home.
When your pet needs a safe and comfortable place to stay and board in the Baton Rouge area, look no further than the Baton Rouge Animal Hospital. Please note that our boarding space is limited, and fills up fast, especially during holiday seasons. Call one of our caring staff members and schedule a stay for your furry family member today!
